In a 30-minute, artist-instructed session, students help create one hand-blown, fluted glass bowl, choosing colors from among the vibrant Vetro palette.

Assist the veteran artist in adding hues to a gather of molten glass, then heat up the future masterpiece in a 2,000-degree furnace, steadfastly ignoring the temptation to drop in all tax-related paperwork. Delicate designers work alongside the artist, fashioning the bowl to suit any key, fruit, or gummy-peach-holding configuration.

All bowls created during the lesson stay in the studio overnight to cool and can be picked up the next business day after 3 p.m. or mailed for an additional fee.
