Founded in 1984, Gruet Winery specializes in Méthode Champenoise sparkling wines. Family owned and run, the New Mexico-based winery produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay-based sparkling wines and a small collection of still wines, with roots originating from Gilbert Gruet’s Champagne house in Bethon, France. More than 25 vintages later, Gruet Winery has achieved unprecedented acclaim and remains a favorite of the nation’s top sommeliers.

You will be able to sample Gruet's wide variety of sparkling wines and still wines. From Brut and Rose sparkling wine to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet still wines. Gruet offers delicious snack plates such as their charcuterie board.

To get you started off properly, we will buy the first flight of wine samples at Gruet Winery for each person in your party!

Stop At: Casa Rondena Winery, 733 Chavez Rd NW North Valley, Albuquerque, NM 87107-5600

From humble but worthy roots to 21st century new beginnings, the wine industry and, closer to home, wine making in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque has traveled an interesting and agriculturally challenging path in this beautiful land. The spirit of bringing forth not only the fruit of the vine but also the cultural flowering of the arts in New Mexico is at the core of what this particular winemaker would like to bring to his neighbors and friends from near and far.

You will be able to sample Casa Rondena's wide variety of unique wines. From Tempranillo, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon to Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Riesling and Gewürztraminer. Casa Rondena offers cheese plates, cold cuts, crackers and chocolates for purchase in the tasting room.

Stop At: D.H. LESCOMBES WINERY & BISTRO, 901 Rio Grande Blvd NW B-100, Albuquerque, NM 87104, USA

The Lescombes family has been crafting wine in New Mexico since their emigration from Burgundy, France in 1981. Since then, we’ve been drawing visitors from across the nation to taste our wide variety of New Mexico wine. Our winery is located in the Mimbres Valley, just outside of Deming, New Mexico. Our traditions are preserved by Florent and Emmanuel Lescombes, who carry on their family’s six-generation history of winemaking. We produce over 40 different wines under many labels, including Blue Teal, D.H. Lescombes, Soleil Mimosa, and St. Clair.

You will be able to sample D.H. Lescombes's wide variety of unique wines. From Syrah, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Rose. D.H. Lescombes has a full restaurant that offers Baked Brie, Green Chile Mac & Cheese, and Roasted Pear Salad as starters. For main courses, Pecan Crusted Chicken, Schnitzel, Grilled Salmon, and Pistachio Pesto Pasta are some of the favorites.
