Very wonderful experience! Beautiful environment, birds, and animals! Great gift shop. Lovely staff.
See Florida’s famous flamingos as well an abundance of other native animals and plants when you visit Flamingo Gardens in Ft Lauderdale. Observe animals such as alligators, panthers and peacocks, and stroll through lush gardens filled with butterflies and hummingbirds, ancient oak trees, orchids and bromeliads, and more. Walk into the large open aviary where birds fly free and check out the Wray Museum, which shows a typical South Florida home from the 1930s.

Nice park, with many bird and other animals to see. This is an animal sanctuary where they also take in wild animals and birds with the goal to heal them and re release into the wild.

Flamingo Gardens is one of the most charming hidden gems. This wildlife sanctuary is surrounded by tropical landscapes in a way that feels both peaceful and inspirational.

It took a bit to get the flamingos to come over to feed them but it was so very worth the effort!! Seeing pure joy on my wife’s face so wonderful!!

We needed an activity to do after a cruise since we had 12 hours until our flight home. This was a relaxing way to spend the day before going home. The peacocks and flamingos were beautiful. There were also other animals such as gators, iguanas, turtles, owls, eagles and otters. We rode the tram to the back to see the botanical garden and the butterfly conservatory. Also toured the Wray Home Museum. It is great that they are a wildlife sanctuary.
