A beautiful and serene marine preserve, and a popular dive location. Pawai Bay is a parcel of land and beautiful stretch of reef that was left untouched by orders of Queen Lili'uokalani.
Only accessible by boat, we rarely encounter other swimmers in this area. Pawai bay has an abundance of reef fish and incredible underwater structures to explore

Stop At: Kaloko Fishpond, Ala Nui Kaloko off Queen Ka_ahumanu Highway, Kailua-Kona, Island of Hawaii, HI
Our second snorkel stop, Kaloko ponds is located on the north end of Kaloko-Honokohau National park. Once one of the primary fishponds for Ali'i (Royalty) on the Kona side, this special place has fresh water pockets and hand stacked rock walls constructed by Hawaiian's living in the traditional way. A beautiful array of reef structures and fishes live in this area. It is a must see!
