We try to be in the great outdoors, make new friends, Challenge ourselves while we golf at The Wawashkamo Golf Club. Wawashkamo was laid out on a farmer’s field that had been the site of the 1814 Battle of Mackinac Island. Separate historical markers commemorate both the golf links and the battlefield. Wawashkamo was honored as one of “America’s Historic Golf Landmarks” by Golf Digest in 1996. The course is contained within Mackinac Island State Park.

Mission Point Lighthouse has been a Traverse City and Old Mission Peninsula icon for decades. Guests are invited to enjoy self-guided historical tours through the lighthouse for a small fee (climb all the way up to the tower!);This resort gives a memorable stay ; it includes restaurants, outdoor pools, tennis courts, bike rentals and a lot more. Its surrounded by beautiful lawns, gardens and stunning views of the Lake Michigan
