We did the Nulu Tour. Cathy was a great guide. Full of information. We learned a lot of history and tid bits. Great food that we probably wouldn't have found on our own. Highly recommend!

Explore vibrant NuLu & historic Butchertown with locally-owned Louisville Food Tours on the original Nulu food tour to taste the flavors of Louisville! Over the course of 3 immersive hours, you'll visit 6 local eateries and enjoy 8 delicious bites that showcase Louisville's culinary heritage. Dishes include biscuits & gravy with roots in the foothills of Appalachia, Kentucky-style fried chicken, a Louisville BBQ dish, bourbon balls, and a Prohibition-era Hot Brown gravy. You'll also enjoy tastings of barrel-aged craft beer and a refreshing alcoholic slushy featuring Kentucky's beloved Ale8 soda. As you wander through the historic streets of two of Louisville's oldest neighborhoods, you’ll uncover the stories behind the city’s rich history, visit a historic home once occupied by Thomas Edison, sample a unique confection inspired by a Victorian actress, and trace the paths of the immigrants who shaped Louisville. This tour typically sells out. Reserve your spot early and come hungry!

The Secrets of Louisville tour was a lot of fun. Our guide Katie was great and the food was delicious. We were soooo full at the end. We also got great recommendations for future meals, bars, tastings and places to go walk off our tour food from Katie and others on the tour. An added benefit!

Katie was extremely knowledgeable about not only the places we visited but also the neighborhood shops. We added the whiskey pairing and she was able to tell us about all the whiskeys in the area and some outside. It was super fun!

Great experience. Enjoyed the food and beverage sampling….actually filled us up by tour’s end. Perfect weather for a walking tour. The ear pieces provided by our great tour guide, Katie, made the day even easier.

The tour leader Ana was great and energetic. I was dissatisfied as a vegetarian at the Nami stop as edamame and kimchi was not a meal in comparison to the wings and dumplings for the others. Something with mushrooms or tofu would have been comparable.
