Arrive 20-minutes early to the Welcome Center at Navitat Canopy Adventures in Barnardsville North Carolina, which is about 25-minutes north of Asheville.  Check in and fill out the waiver form upon arrival, prior to your start time.

You and your group will be led up a series of stairs to our "Operations Building," where you will be given an orientation instruction that will brief you on the adventure you're about to embark on. After being dressed with a harness, participants will board an all-terrain passenger van that has been retro-fitted with an off-road package. You will ride in this van approximately 5 to 8 minutes up the mountainside to the tour entry trail.  Safety is our first priority, so you will be lead by Canopy Guides that undergo's a rigorous 50 to 70 hour technical training and will Zip along on a dual-cable system for added safety and security.

• Each tour time accommodates 8 guests. Larger groups should plan to book multiple tour times.
• No food is available while on the tour. A water break is included at the mid-way point of each tour. We sell snacks and drinks in our shop but do not have full meals available for purchase.
• BLUE RIDGE EXPERIENCE Participants Must: weigh between 70 and 250 pounds
• Guest Must sign a Participant Agreement upon arrival.  Please arrive 15 - 20 minutes early.
•  If under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign the Participant Agreement!
• --- if under 4, a parent or legal guardian must sign the Participant Agreement AND you must be actively accompanied on the tour by your parent or another adult designated by your parent to serve as chaperone
  • Guest must agree to be discreetly weighed upon check-in.
  • Guest must be in good health and prepared to participate in an ACTIVE tour
  • Guests Must be able to comfortably walk one mile & able to hold both hands overhead
  • Guests must have the strength to pull yourself along the cable and slow yourself using a glove to create friction on the cable
  • Wear closed-toe shoes (like tennis shoes or hiking boots) and prepare for all weather.
• Navitat operates rain or shine. Please dress appropriately. Rain jackets and/or pants are great, but loose-fitting ponchos are not permitted.

• You Cannot Participate if You:
  
• Are pregnant or have recent, recurring or existing injuries
• Have a serious musculoskeletal disorder
• Have epilepsy or a seizure disorder that does not permit you to drive
• Have hemophilia or are currently taking high doses of a blood thinning medication or anticoagulant
• Have a known health condition that requires immediate medical attention in the event of an emergency
• Are under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or prescription medications that may limit your abilities
