Get ready for a thrilling 4-hours (varies with water level) when you meet at the Rafting Office on Hwy 285 South in Buena Vista at your chosen time. Your rafting trip leader will talk you through what to wear, where to be and what to expect on your trip down the Arkansas river located in Browns Canyon National Monument. 
After your trip leader educates you with a whitewater rafting safety talk, you will be suited up with a life jacket, helmet and a guide.  Head out to the river, you are now ready to raft several Class III whitewater rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Raft Ripper. 
A bus will pick you up 10 miles downstream from where you started and bring you back to the Rafting office where you will dry off and continue with your day.
Lunch is available before or after your trip at the Rafting office riverside pavilion.

• All participants must sign a Release Form (liability waiver) and/or an assumption of risk form to acknowledge understanding of these risks and assume all risk of participation
• Minimum age is 6 years, must be capable of performing specific tasks independently
• Properly fit into a type 5 coat guard approved life jacket
• Wear closed toe shoes, quick dry materials for rafting (cotton not recommended)
• Read and understand all the instructions in English
• Consult a doctor before participating if you have a history of head, neck, back, shoulder, or cardiac concerns
• Be able to self rescue in the event of a swim
• Rental equipment available for rafting (wetsuits, polypro tops, river booties, splash jackets)
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 50 travelers
