Upon entering the international territory between 46th Street and 1st Avenue, you will head to the UN Visitor Center to meet your Licensed Guide. During the tour, you will visit the famous General Assembly Hall, Security Council Chambers, and other relevant meeting rooms and chambers. Discover what goes on behind-the-scenes during the meetings of the UN’s 193 member countries and learn in depth about the UN history and work.
You can also spend some time exploring the Visitors Lobby, which features photographic and multimedia displays on global social issues, the refugee crisis, humanitarian action, climate action, sustainable development and other important topics. There will also be free pamphlets and other materials on the UN work available for you to pick up.
