Jesse’s Balboa Park E-Scooter tour (or one of his other many tour options) is a must do when visiting (or living in!) San Diego! He takes you through the heart of the art at balboa park! We saw glimpses of many of the 16+ museums San Diego has like the Timken, Contemporary art, Automotive, Air and Space, Museum of Natural History and so many more. We also saw glass blowers live as the Spanish Village Art Center, the Botanical Building and Lily Pond and even a sweet family of small turtles! The most beautiful Casa Del Prado was a site to see as was the Rose and Cactus Garden. We also saw the outside of the Japanese Friendship garden and so much more. It was a gorgeous ride and Jesse always checked in to make sure we could stop if we needed to use the restroom or take a break or chat about the history and area with him. He is very knowledgeable of the history of the area and park oh and we can’t forget to mentioned him telling us about Kate Sessions the Mother of Balboa Park who leased land to the park in exchange for planting 100 trees per year. Just a breath of fresh air literally with a patient and kind tour guide! I recommended you take advantage of trying something new! Neither of us had e-scootered before and within 10 min we had it down thanks to Jesse’s teaching skills and patience! A must do whether you are in town visiting like us or a local who needs a break and an adventure! Will definitely do another tour with Jesse hopefully sooner than later!!!

Join me on a journey through one of San Diego's most iconic places. Since this park is large, we will be touring the major sites with the wind in our hair on electric scooters. No walking required ;) The first stop will be the beautiful botanical building and lily pond where we will pause for some pictures. Next, we will briefly cruise to the entrance to the San Diego Zoo before heading to the Spanish Village Arts Center. We will then scoot to the Morton Bay Fig Tree. It's then time to ride down the iconic El Prado passing fountains & museums along the way. After a quick stop, we will head past the International cottages on our way to the air and space museum. We will wrap up at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion before heading back to where we started. Photos of your adventure are included! If you want to see Balboa park in an efficient & unique way with a local guide, then this is the tour for you! (Tips are not required but are always appreciated :)

Jesse was educated and kind! We were a few mins late and he was graciously accommodating :) highly recommend if you want to see the park!

I did this with my 12 yr old granddaughter. This was great, the electric scooters were easy to use and fun. Anyone concerned about riding the scooter should not be they are easy to use and steadier then you might think. Jesse was a great guide with a lot of information to share. Only negative was it was too short we wanted to keep going, after the tour all I kept hearing was we should do electric scooters again!

Great experience. Loved seeing the park and learning about the history. The scooter is a great way to get around quickly when you don’t have time to walk.

The scooters were a lot of fun. We got a few practice rounds at the beginning of the tour and that helped. By the end we were cruising like pros. My teenagers really enjoyed it. The cactus garden was a hit.
