You will first visit the Wormsloe Historic Site originally built in 1739 by Noble Jones, one of Georgia's original founders. We will view the tabby ruins of the original home and walk around the grounds.

Stop At: Pin Point Heritage Museum, 9924 Pin Point Ave, Savannah, GA 31406-8565

We will travel to Pin Point Gullah Geechee Heritage Museum. Gullah Geechee Africans typically lived in relative isolation along the coastline of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and North Florida. Due to this isolation, their language and culture were preserved and passed down to their descendants.

At Pin Point, you will learn about the Gullah Geechee community through exhibits, a fascinating movie, and a guided tour presented by museum staff. Afterward, we will drive through one of the last remaining Gullah Geechee communities in Georgia.
