(1) I thought it was expensive to pay $35/parking and $25/locker in addition to the high-cost ticket. (2) I was disappointed that a Busch Gardens' affiliated park would not be well maintained. On the day we went, the wave pool was broken, and the Wahoo Remix had lights but no music. The lazy river was filled with leaves and debris (even after just opening). At Mango Joe's, I was refused a plate for my son's kid's meal and was told they only come in cardboard boats. I asked for a breast, and the server broke off a leg and gave me a thigh. When I went for my refill, the bar code said I had already gotten one.

To be honest I don’t really write reviews of places I have been, but in the case of Pirate Island (Sorry Adventure) I feel the need to And writing this while still in park Right start with the plus points of the park 1: Now the negatives As previously mentioned parking is an absolute joke, over $40 after tax, to me that is just an absolute rip off and not needed as tickets to park aren’t exactly cheap. We also pre booked a cabana as we thought it would be a nice touch for the day, believe me don’t bother, they seriously need some TLC spent on them, very run down, the chairs are old and don’t look as though they have ever seen a cleaning cloth on them, there was still items of rubbish left in ours from last customers, there is a ceiling fan in them but it probably rotates at about 2mph and does nothing, also no security or signs saying no entrance as at one stage we had 4 boys run into ours shouting at someone in the lazy river, they were told to putting it nicely go away, also other people just seemed to use other cabanas at will, also I know it’s coming into fall time but surely someone could be cleaning the floor areas of these, as ours definitely looked as though not been swept out for a while. Now onto the all day dining, you get a very limited choice of participating outlets with not many items on offer, the pizza one for instance has 2 different slices of pizza and a salad and that’s it, the smokehouse one has 2 items of food, the other one has 6 or 7 things on the menu, but the one we asked for we couldn’t have all of it unless we paid for the bacon part of the bacon cheeseburger!!!, really, why offer it then, I know this second point is partly our fault but we went to get something else to eat and it was only 85 minutes after out last visit, so if we wanted something we would have to wait 5 mins, I know we are early but surely a little leeway can be offered. The staff at the park all seem to be miserable we didn’t come across hardly anyone who was smiling or engaging with customers, if this is part of Busch Gardens they surely need to be looking at this place and the way it is run, and maybe get some staff in that can motivate others to act more professional. All in all I will not return here and will also definitely not recommend this place to others, unless you want to spend a fortune parking, getting in, and then eating and drinking for the day as you can spend a good $100 per person once inside, trust me find alternative places to go.

Extremely disappointed. Pick and choose policy days with out making it clearly stand out in the website. 3 16 year olds went 2 days ago. No problem. Drive over an hour Paid extreme high prices for everything. $35.00 for a shoe box locker and $17.00 for water and Gatorade. 2 days later 4 16 year olds same family drove over an hour to go and were not able to get in with out a chaperone. Can drive a car at 16 and you need a chaperone to go down water slides. This should be clearly stated at top of website that days are picked and chosen when chaperone is needed for teenagers by your establishment. Wasted an entire day and gas in a car with 4 very disappointed teenagers. Really not acceptable to not have clearly stated In LARGE writing on website when page opens. Not a way to run a supposedly reputable business of this nature.

Bad experience Long waits for food with incomplete order and wait for order.after purchase. Took 1 hour to order and receive food. Ordered and paid extra for bacon on cheeseburger. No bacon received and ordered a cookie instaed of fries, not received either. Lazy river was full of leaves and unattractive and there were an inadequate number of floats., . This was our seond time at the park, but will not return again!

More kids swimming in lazy river than people on tubes. There was a severe lack of tubes. The lazy river has always been my favorite. But no tubes means no enjoyable floating.
