This is the only tour which covers both Yellowstone's south (lower) and north (upper) loops in one day! The roads through Yellowstone make up a massive figure of eight, called the Grand Loop Road. Tour companies generally divide their tours into a day travelling around the bottom or lower loop of the figure of eight, and another day touring around the top or upper loop of the figure of eight.
