Throughout the event, the Zoo transforms into a winter wonderland with festive entertainment and enchanting decorations including a 50-foot animated Christmas tree complete with 12,000 dancing lights, 2,000 ornaments and an 8-foot star! The memorable night is capped off with a candlelight processional highlighting everyone’s favorite Christmas tunes.
The Christmas in the Wild event is every Friday and Saturday from 4pm-10pm during December. With twinkling lights around you, explore the zoo at night. Encounter animals as you stroll, and enjoy Christmas carolers singing popular holiday classics. Make your way to the Christmas Lodge to sample holiday treats and refreshments. Then, visit Santa and listen to live entertainment.
