When Vinzo's Italian Grill & Pizzeria originally opened its doors during the 1970s, it was about a thousand miles north of Casselberry—all the way in New York and New Jersey. The restaurant moved to central Florida in the early 1990s—mostaccioli noodles could easily double as packing peanuts—and it has built a loyal following ever since. Original family recipes make the entire menu worth exploring, especially the entrees, which include a chicken calabrese dish that's topped with artichoke hearts and a wine cream sauce. The menu also features more than 15 gourmet pizzas, including a double-crust pizza stuffed with ham, pepperoni, sausage, and ground beef.
