Long Island Aesthetic's Dr. Anthony Colantonio is a graduate of Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1984 and completed his training at Montefiore Medical Center Surgery Residency, and was Chief Resident in 1989. Dr. Colantonio has been Board Certifed in Surgery since 1990, and has over 20 years experience in Surgery. Dr. Colantonio is certified in Liposuction and Laser Liposuction.

Long Island Aesthetic, together with Dr. Colantonio's expertise, provide the latest generation of Smartlipo devices to perform laser liposuction. Laser liposuction is an office based procedure used to reduce areas of unwanted fat deposits while helping tighten the skin. The procedure takes approximately one to two hours to perform, and can be performed for small areas under local anesthesia while the patient is awake. Using a unique blend of three wavelengths, while including safety features to maximize results, he inserts a small tube into the skin and then liquefies fat cells with a laser attached to the tube.
