About Wellfield Botanic Gardens

To step into the Wellfield Botanic Gardens is to step into a kaleidoscope of blooming creativity and natural renewal. Created to commemorate the centennial of Rotary International, the gardens offer visitors a chance to stroll through 36 acres brimming with flowers and plants, including snap dragons, Gerbera daisies, and hydrangeas. Sculptures also dot the landscape in gardens such as the Conversation Garden, the Sensory Garden, and the Pergola Garden. In all, 24 distinct gardens—all situated around ponds, creeks, and waterfalls—are available for quiet contemplation or comical stomp-walking. While visitors are enjoying the grounds, they also learn the importance of conservation and environmental sustainability.
