About West Alabama State Fair

You can spot West Alabama State Fair from a ways away thanks to its Ferris wheel. It towers over the fairgrounds, which are dotted with myriad carnival rides. There's plenty to do beyond rides, too. Visitors can pet barnyard animals at the petting zoo, cheer on rodeo shows, and marvel at Magic Sam's kid-friendly magic. His performance is followed by songs belted out by Frozen's Anna. Attendees can also test their stomachs during a pie-eating contest or root-beer chugging contest.
