Whidbey Island Distillery sprawls across nine acres of the postcard-worthy Whidbey Island in Puget Sound. It takes its location seriously. Helmed by the Heising family, the distillery handcrafts its libations using Washington-sourced ingredients such as wild blackberries plucked from the island. What's more, its fruit-packed liqueurs, including loganberry, raspberry, and boysenberry, have racked up awards and medals from the Beverage Testing Institute and San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
