Today's side deal gets you a wet-and-wild adventure without having to dust off a cumbersome Slip 'n Slide: for $49, you get a half-day of rollicking rollycoaster rafting (up to a $47 value) on the Colorado River plus rental of all the necessary wetsuit equipment (a $10.81 value, including tax) and a photo CD chronicling the trip (a $43.23 value, including tax) from Whitewater Rafting, LLC, up to a $101 total value. Trips leave at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. seven days a week.
During the three-hour trip, rafters navigate the Shoshone rapids as they churn and dive through the awesome Glenwood Canyon. Torpedo through notorious paroxysms such as the Tombstone, the Wall, Maneater, and Sprinkles, while being splashed and thrashed and having a blast. Each experienced and buoyant guide will float each group safely back to Whitewater's Glenwood Springs facility replete with showers, a picnic area, private launching ramp, and free pet boarding. Since 1974, Whitewater Rafting has been family owned and operated, successfully and safely leading curious thrill seekers through rowdy rides atop ceaselessly churning waters. Call ahead or register online to book your trip, and be sure to show up at least 45 minutes prior to the departure time for a brief orientation.
Due to river-monster mating season, this deal is not valid June 26 to August 15. Reservations are required.

About Whitewater Rafting, LLC
Whitewater rapids can seem as menacing as great white sharks, but Whitewater Rafting owners Erik and Phoebe Larsson are out to dispel these unfounded fears. Since the company's first raft hit the waters of the Colorado River in 1974, it has maintained an impeccable safety record thanks to its experienced tour guides, each fully certified at the state and federal level in CPR, first aid, and on-river maneuvers. Many of the guides have been navigating these same rapids for more than a decade, learning intimate details about the river, from its twists and turns to its crippling phobia of alligators. First-time rafters can earn their whitewater bona fides on half-day treks, conquering the Class III and IV rapids of the Shoshone Rapids. More experienced adventurers can rent out boats, kayaks, paddles, and safety gear to embark on their own trips through the rapids.
