After facing fork confusion during the rounds of seasonal fetes, treat yourself to grabable grub with today’s Groupon. For $10, you'll get $20 worth of paninis, wraps, subs, and smoothies at Wisey's. Conveniently located on Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown, Wisey's is a welcoming offshoot of the Wisemiller's Deli that features favorites from the original locale, plus tons of vegetarian, fruititarian, and healthy options. Have a seat in the bay window for prime people-watching, or stand outside the bay window for prime people-being.
Easily transportable, the sandwich is an ideal lunchtime meal, far preferable to a mesh bag of panicky pheasants or piping hot hovering soup orbs. Wisey's gives you a variety of food groups in every bite without annoying utensil requirements, prep work, or clean-up. Wisemiller's popular Chicken Madness (a sub with grilled chicken, bacon, cayenne pepper, sweet peppers, garlic, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo; $6.99) is unchanged on Wisey's menu, alongside healthier hand-helds and salads ($6.35–$7.25). Get the Oxymoron (a wrap stuffed with portobellos, onions, sweet peppers, lettuce, havarti, and raspberry vinaigrette) for your English prof and try the delicious Jericho (hummus, cucumber, kalamata olives, red onions, romaine, and feta in a wheat wrap; $6.35). Wisey's grown-up grilled cheese, the Quarto Fromaggi, features four cheeses on multigrain bread with grilled tomato, while the Chantilly (smoked turkey, brie, and cranberry mayo on croissant) provides a sophisticated reinterpretation of now long-gone holiday meals. For those who aren't fork-challenged or don't mind eating salad with their hands, the Riviera salad (walnuts, goat cheese and sliced strawberries on a bed of greens with tortilla points and red wine vinegar) and Satay chicken salad (grilled chicken with peanut sauce on mixed greens with sesame dressing, carrots, and crunchy tortilla strips) are flavorful alternatives to their bready, sandwich cousins.
Inside Wisey's, mosaic table tops and vibrant purple and yellow walls excite the appetite, but the most colorful blast comes from the display of fresh fruit, which Wisey's friendly staff will ably transform into a healthy and delicious smoothie ($4.50–$4.99) blended with ice and skim milk. Drink the Divine Oasis (bananas, dates, and honey) or turn fresh mango, strawberry, banana, and orange into health-conscious potables. And unlike its main competitor, Wiseguy's, Wisey's won't make you go home and get your shinebox before they'll serve you.
Carryout or dine-in only. Not valid for Georgetown campus location.

Washington Post and DCist have each featured the ever-popular Wisey's:
- …the Wisconsin Ave. location has a more welcoming atmosphere, with seats, mosaic-topped tables and a kids' menu. To attract more health-conscious diners and Georgetown area residents, Wisey's features a long list of lighter sandwiches, wraps and salads with low-fat dressings….The warm Altuna Melt is a standout with tuna salad, cheese and a layer of snappy apple slices on toasted multigrain bread. Vegetarians will find plenty of options, including a hummus and cucumber wrap. – Erin Hartigan, Washington Post
