Choose from five-day sessions beginning on Mondays, starting June 29 and running through July 24.
Situated on ten acres of land with an indoor sports arena and multiple outdoor fields, this summer camp for ages 3–12 runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. After kids are divided into age appropriate groups, a typical day starts off with swimming lessons in a large outdoor pool watched by certified lifeguards. The experienced camp counselors take them to partake in activities at special stations, such as karate, soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, arts and crafts, hands on science or dance classes on a theatre arts stage. A provided healthy lunch and drinks recharges campers before the afternoon activities begin on places like the facility’s 16 tennis courts or the playground. About Camp Setauket
Offering four different camps, each with it's own unique program of activities, Camp Setauket makes use of every inch of their 10-acre camp grounds. The World Gym Sports Camp moves from the outdoor sports fields to the 14,000 square-foot air-conditioned indoor turf arena and nine indoor har-tru courts and 7 outdoor har-tru courts to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse, hockey, and basketball, among other other sports, while the Theater Arts Program uses the camp's theater space to explore the many facets of theater production, including acting, directing, dancing, and stage and costume design. Campers in the Split Camp program spend half their day on the tennis courts, learning the basics of tennis through drills and games on nine indoor Har-Tru courts and seven outdoor Har-Tru courts. They then switch over to the General Camp, which uses all of the fields and facilities to host a variety of recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, sports and field-games, and swimming.
