From Jessica Lind Peterson, the playwright who brought Yellow Tree Theatre audiences the smash hit Miracle on Christmas Lake, comes another holiday comedy back by popular demand. A Hunting Shack Christmas finds married couple Charlie and Jennifer trying to smooth out a marital rough patch right before their 10th anniversary. So, with Christmas three days away, it's off to the family hunting shack in an attempt to rekindle the faded flames of love ... only to find that Charlie's estranged uncle Big Paul is squatting at the shack, out of which he's operating an illegal venison jerky operation with the help of his scrappy mistress June. Filled with quirky characters and hilarious oddities, the question is: Will this Minnesota-centric comedy find its oddball foursome enjoying a merry Christmas together, or suffering through a holiday from hell?
