Yoga Darsana Studio delivers students to bendable bliss through careful instruction in the Iyengar yoga method, which uses body alignment as a stepping-stone toward strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. In level one classes, eager pupils master the key poses, called "asanas," learning standing, sitting, and forward extension positions and testing out shoulder-stands and relaxation techniques. More advanced yogettes deepen their command of these movements during the level two sessions, which also incorporate head balancing, backbends, and basic potato juggling. The slower-paced gentle yoga and relaxation sessions are recommended for seniors, and eventual seniors ages 5–12 can exercise in a non-competitive environment during the children's classes.
