You Take Flight is dedicated to offer unique aviation experiences- on the ground with professional airline flight simulator sessions and in the air with exciting helicopter tours. Helicopter flights initiate from the main terminal building at Dallas Executive Airport and are performed by our sister company, Airwolf Helicopters LLC, flight simulator sessions are operated by our professional flight training school, SimJet Center at the Dallas Executive Airport.
HELICOPTER FLIGHTS: For those yearning to take to the actual skies, You Take Flight offers helicopter tours for up to six guests as they strap into the turbine jet engine, Airwolf Copter, hook up to a noise-cancelling intercom system, and lift off in front of the Terminal building of the Dallas Executive Airport. The Chief Pilot, callsign the ‘Airwolf’, is a current Boeing 737 Captain and has since 1983 operated 15 different types of helicopters. Flight options may change and can include: The Dallas Skyline Joy Flight– Private Fight, for up to 4 people, with option to add dinner, (approx. 12 – 14 min flight.), The VIP Dallas Skyline Tour - Shared Flight for two, (approx. 16 –18 min. flight), which offers scenic views of Dallas downtown, including iconic landmarks such as the Reunion Tower, Omni Hotel and Trinity River bridges. The VIP Dallas Skyline Tour with Dinner – Shared Flight for two (approx. 16 -18 min. flight), including a 3-course gourmet dinner at Delta Charlie’s Bar & Grill restaurant.
SIMULATOR FLIGHTS: You Take Flight offers two kinds of flying experiences. Guests can step into the cockpit of a professional flight simulator, an FAA approved Airbus A320 or Boeing 737NG Advanced Aviation Training Device. After a briefing session, guests take their place in the cockpit and under the supervision of professionals, manage the jet from takeoff to landing within an immersive scenario powered by 3D graphics, sound effects and a wrap-around projection system.
