Groupon needs to know whenever a customer attended a booking, so we can manage the validity of passes and vouchers. As part of your integration, you must call our Update Reservation endpoint to communicate information about unit status.
This endpoint is used to notify Groupon of a voucher redemption that was performed in your system. Groupon expects an explicit signal from your system for each booking within the same calendar day as the appointment (i.e. by 23:59:59). If Groupon does not receive an explicit signal from your system by end-of-day, we mark the booking as redeemed. It’s no longer available.
Note: This endpoint can also be used to update the reservation status to cancelled.
