Groupon makes various types of deals available to customers, and many of these deals allow customers to book appointments to specific services that they want to experience and enjoy. The ability to be able to book provides customers with convenience and peace of mind that their service will be available to them when they want it.
It is crucial that our customers see accurate availability for the services a merchant provides so that they can take proper decisions on when they want to book their appointments. Through our various Booking APIs, we ensure that Groupon customers have accurate availability information displayed to them during their booking experience. Groupon will call your system to check service availability before bookings are created, and collect real time availability data.
This would be used as part of user experience to update service availability when a customer is making their selections and also when purchasing, to validate again that what they want to book is still available. We then create the bookings that the customer wants.
When customer makes a booking, the customer first name, last name, phone number, email is passed to you along with the Groupon Voucher that we create on purchase.
