Cancellation

There are various ways for reservations and bookings to be cancelled, and it's important that we provide our customers, merchants, and partners with various methods of cancellation. Through the use of our cancellation API, we've made it easy for our systems to stay in sync.

There are two primary cancellation sources:

1. Groupon initiated (Customer or Groupon Support)
2. Partner initiated (Merchant or Partner Support)

Regardless of how an order is is cancelled, we need to be able to support the two sources of order cancellations to ensure a seemless experience for our customers and merchants. Groupon utilizes two different endpoints that allows our systems to communicate with one another. One endpoint is used to update Groupon of any order cancellations initiated from your system, and the other end point is used notify your system of any Groupon initiated cancellations
