10/10 Magical resort _ We went there for a getaway and recharge. We truly did! The staff was excellent, and the premises were entirely covered in diverse vegetation, which was beautiful. The food with ingredients grown there was exquisite—10/10 place. The ambiance and architecture were unique, making the stay more memorable. The transportation from/to the hotel, arranged in advance, was very convenient. Many tours are available, and you cannot miss Luis M. as your tour guide. Not only will he transport you and show you new places, but he will also go the extra mile to ensure you have the best experience ever. If you want to rest, connect with nature, and totally disconnect from the busy day, this is the place. The Spa was AMAZING. We only stayed 3 days but did the spa twice. What an experience.

Stunning Grounds and Fantastic Room Sadly we were here for less than 24 hours. We spent 6 glorious days in Uvita and I wanted a nice place to spend our last night that was closer to the airport. I so wish we could have spent MORE time at this beautiful compound! Our room was huge with lots of storage and 2 separate sinks, a beautiful view of the San Jose valley below. The property is gated (and protected by kitties!) and the landscaping is unbelievable! There are multiple waterfalls on site. We walked down and saw three of them. It is not a simple little stroll, mind you! Lots of steps so we got a little workout! There is a lovely restaurant (no bar to sit at). We took dinner in our room and the food was good. I am not familiar what there is to do in the area, but it was a beautiful place to stay and only took about 15 minutes to get to the airport. Just a note in case it matters to some - there was not a television in the room. There was, however, a small hairdryer and an iron.

Wondrous Place to Recalibrate The Xandari Resort and Spa was a wondrous place to recalibrate. The attention to detail that infused the decor and atmosphere with so much character and personality was charming. The farm to table food was delicious. Everyone was kind, warm, knowledgeable, and gracious. There are plenty places to catch your breath and pause. Between the botanical garden, random cute places to sit on the different trails on the property, two minimum pools and two jacuzzis, you can truly enjoy your time. Xandari is elevated you get to experience breathtaking views from your veranda or at the restaurant, especially at night where you see not only the picturesque mountains and landscape, but the city line and lights while enjoying gourmet meals. The spa was adorned with sweet fragrances and hospitable staff. Amy provided my 60 mins aromatherapy massage and it was delightful. Xandari family (staff) were just extraordinary by going above and beyond to ensure all patrons and guests were comfortable, aware of the myriad of support services, and welcomed us into the fold. It was simply wonderful and I'd highly recommend to others and plan to return when I visit Costa Rica again. Thank you for making my stay comfortable and charming. I've attached some photos of the property.

Perfect Ending to Our Honeymoon Xandari was a perfect stay for our last 2 nights in Costa Rica for our honeymoon. The staff were fantastic. Luis greeted us immediately when we arrived and was very helpful while we were tired and hungry. Karla also helped answer our many questions and made us laugh (hello Karla from Derrick & 'Derrick'!). They both made the stay even better. Even before our stay, Lucy answered our many emails and helped us book a day trip with pick up/drop off at the hotel. The trails are beautiful; we just wish we had more time to explore the grounds. The rooms do not have an A/C (there is a ceiling fan) but we felt comfortable with the breeze, especially at night. This hotel is not near the city / downtown, but this was exactly what we were looking for. Our only trouble was finding an uber from Adobe SJO back to the hotel, but everything else was fantastic. We highly recommend staying at Xandari for the colorful rooms, beautiful views and trails, and friendly staff.

Heaven above San Jose The location! In the hills above SanJose, with incredible views overlooking the city! The property! The grounds are breathtaking, flowers, plants & birds everywhere! Well maintained hiking trails, waterfalls!!! 3 pools! A glorious spa for massages & private jacuzzi! The food! Everything is grown, harvested on prepared with love & expertise! The STAFF!___ I cannot say enough about everyone our paths crossed, but special big hugs for the amazing Karla at reception! The open arm warmth of care she treated us like we were royalty & family✨ This place is a true gem ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
