My Go-To in Alameda Have been to Alameda before, didn't stay here because of the terrible reviews. Paid much more for AirBnB, etc. Big error. This place is dumpy, but not THAT dumpy. Could be cleaner, nicer (some furniture/carpet stains -- just like the Marriott), but it was QUIET! And sparsely occupied. The people that we did see were nice and normal. Got a room with a kitchen overlooking the mud-pit/lagoon. Plenty big for my wife and I and everything worked, including the sliding glass door/screen to the balcony, AC and heat. No kitchen utensils/pots, but coffee maker worked and fridge was clean. You can get kitchen supplies from the front desk, I believe. Didn't use the pool, but it looked good. Breakfast was marginal, but met expectations. Parking was a breeze. Get an inside room facing the courtyard, or one looking at the lagoon. Bang for the buck: superlative. The only place to stay on the island. Can walk across the street to a large shopping center with a Safeway, restaurants and a gym. Can also walk a several mile paved path running along the bay. Very easy to make reses on the web, had to cut our stay short, no problem or extra fees. Not the Four Seasons, but will certainly stay there again.

Humble spot in a great location! This is my family's go-to place whenever we are in the East Bay. We have been coming here for about 15 years (I even stay here on business trips as well). It's an older property and not too fancy. But it is in an awesome location! The shoreline is less than a block away. It is next door to a really cool and lively bowling alley. It is across the street from a shopping center with grocery stores, retail shops, and restaurants. It is also just up the street from Downtown Alameda. With all of this, the price is better than almost anywhere else in the area.

Great room Huge room, professional staff, immaculate room, bathtub, quiet. Good value for The Bay Area, and great location 1 block to the beach across from great shopping center with Trader Joes! Funky carpet in the hall and stairs was a turn off.

Experence We were there for 7 days in December 2022, 2 days the maids never came in, no towels, trash never emptied, lights did not work all the time. Worst place ever stayed it. Breakfast two days in a row, had no juice. Was not a good place.
