No Electricity Hotel This hotel does not have backup power. Local power company outage map estimates hotel will be without power until 4:30 AM for a total outage of 9 and 1/2 hours. Maybe this is the standard for Comfort Inns - no backup generator to provide power for their guests?

A great sleep at a great price! This budget friendly hotel was spotless, with an exceptionally friendly staff, super comfy beds and a very peaceful environment in which to stay. Our room had a nice size fridge, microwave and the bathroom had a hair dryer.

Perfect for a weekend getaway We came here for a show in Philadelphia and we found this hotel on Choice Hotels. This place is fantastic. Everything smells cleans and fresh. Our room was perfect, and it's easy to tell that maintenance is important for them. No cracks on the walls, no stains and even the old stucco still looks good. You'll see on the pictures how clean it was. This place is going on my favorites list for sure. We are a couple who travel a lot for shows and attractions. We always book cheaper hotels and search for deals. This hotel is a great one!

Needs improvement This hotel is badly in need of updating. Paint is chipping off the walls, wallpaper peeling and rusted items in the room. The fitness center was one of the primary reasons we booked here and it was closed for our whole stay with no reason or expected time to reopen. The tvs are so ancient and pixelated they are difficult to watch. We paid well over $500 for a 4 night stay. We got a a basic budget hotel value for elevated prices. I would just go up a notch if you want a nice experience or down a notch if you want to save money, but I do not recommend this place.

Can't Sleep for the Noises The first room we were given smelled like a kennel as soon as you opened the door. The toilet had a black dripping ring under the top of the bowl. The bathtub was stained with black water puddles. So we told the front desk and we were given another room. This room was 100% better, until the noises started. We put our food in the refrigerator and turned it on. A high pitch whine emanated from it. My hubby turned the notch down and the whine lowered to barely noticeable. Once we turned in for the night, the AC started growling and emitting a high pitched whine, louder than the refrigerator was. Is this a competition? It woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep. I turned down the thermostat, hoping it would work like it did on the refrig, but no go. Then about 1 1/2 hours later, the AC thumped and quit whining. I finally got some sleep, but was weary the next day. We were happy that there was a bar in the hotel, and were able to get a great burger and fries. If we didn't ride the elevator to our first (bad) room, where we saw a small ad for the bar, we would not have known it was there. When traveling with a pet, it is harder to go out to eat, so that was a pleasant surprise. They need to put flyers about it in the rooms or out a sign out somewhere.
