Beautiful Hotel with Friendly Staff This is an easy to get to hotel right across the street from Dorney Park. There is a McDonald’s a few doors down. The hotel has ample parking. It must be new, or newly renovated, as everything looked great. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a king room with a shower. My room was well-appointed and very comfortable. I remarked to the front desk staff that I couldn’t remember the last time I slept so well in a hotel. The bed was amazing and the blackout shade really helped keep out the morning light. Even though I was right next to the elevator I didn’t hear any noise during my stay. My room had a coffee machine, microwave and refrigerator. For a business traveler, the many charging outlets and comfortable desk will be well appreciated. My room had a good size bench for my overnight suitcase with hooks above. There was also a small armoire to hang clothes with a safe to store valuables. The tv was large and there were many channel options for entertainment. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast with a variety of choices. The eating area was nicely appointed. I highly recommend this hotel.

Zero housekeeping service I was really shocked at the housekeeping service. I am an IHG platinum member and stayed two nights ( March 29 to March 31, 2024). Left the room at 10am on March 30 to go to the state park for hiking and returned to the room at 6:34pm. Shocked to see the cleaning crew collecting the tips, replaced the garbage only but left the bed completely unorganized. See photos. I complained to the front desk right away, requested to talk to the manager and waited for responses

Great value and great comfort at Holiday Inn Allentown Dorneyville We had a fabulous experience at the Holiday Inn Express Allentown Dorneyville. A recent renovation gave the hotel a clean sheen! Our room was super clean with updated fixtures. The staff’s hospitality was terrific. Did I mention the free breakfast? What a great value.

Grandsons graduation Poor room service. Had to request that the trash be emptied and the bed to be freshened…..not sure if the sheets were ever changed. Floor was never cleaned and we were there from Mon.-Sat. Morn. They have a snack room with no diet drinks or anything diet for a diabetic, including their breakfast service.

BEWARE!! Pet Fee is $250 per night - BEWARE!! Their Priceline page indicates that they allow pets. I booked a room and wen to check-in and was advised that they DO NOT allow pets. However they would make an exception and the charge would be $250 per night for the pet. I could not stay at the hotel due to the outrageous pet fee and they would not refund the nights stay. I notified Priceline as well - Priceline and the hotel could have cared less about this predicament.
