Nice location Nice location but could use repairs on property. The pool tile was not clean. The side fountains on the pool were in disrepair. Rust on bases of the umbrellas. Mold around bathtub. Rust on soap dish in shower. The beds were good. House keeping was good. Front desk friendly. Just need to repair and replace some items

Beautiful beach Nice family place to stay. Beautiful grounds and beach. The first room we staying in for two nights had an issue with the air conditioning. The carpet was wet from humidity and condensation dripping on the floor from the AC register, causing a horrible night of sleep triggering asthma. With some negotiating, we were able to move to a room in the newer part of the building and we were compensated for the original room, at 1/2 price. Spa was well worth the time and money spent. Staff also very professional, warm and welcoming. The staff: Tom, Melody, Bernham, and Andrew were exceptionally professional, helpful, warm and welcoming.

AVOID This review pertains to Omni's cancellation policy and interaction with office staff. We were supposed to check in today, in the midst of Tropical Storm Debbie. The county is under a state of emergency and our flight has been delayed. We made the difficult decision to cancel the trip. The office staff was insensitive to our situation and enforced the cancellation penalty for both rooms that we had booked. Assistant office manager Maureen Booth was unhelpful. I requested to speak with office manager Andrew Crowder and was told he was unavailable and probably wouldn't call me back. Omni would rather keep the cancellation penalty than a customer. Never booking with Omni again.

Unfair business practice After previously booking the room directly with Omni Amelia Island Resort they at checkout they made big increases to our daily rates and said the increase was something they can do based on occupancy levels. Will stay somewhere other than the Omni resort in the future.

Old, Unkept, Dirty, Unclean The resort does NOT live up to the Omni Brand. It is tired and dirty. If the cushions around the pool are gross and filthy, how are the beds maintained. Stay at a motel 6. They are much cleaner and a fraction of the cost. The staff was amazing, the Resort is not.
