Underwhelming with a great central location I left my stay at The Majestic Inn, underwhelmed. The fact that the windows were dirty, the walls needed repair/paint, and the housecleaning was subpar was the least of problems we experienced. Myself and other vendor friends love the convenience of the location during the Anacortes art festival. This is the first year I can recall the prices were increased to the point price gauging. (In my opinion) we were charged $599 per night plus taxes and fees. For these premium prices I was expecting luxury and that is not what I experienced. There is no full mirror or refrigerator in my room. The maid packed up all of my personal items the first night that I stayed because of a miscommunication on their end. After speaking to management nobody was able to help. Next year I will stay elsewhere and skip the convenient location. Everybody spoke to said that they were new and didn’t know how to help. I had to basically beg to get a toothbrush when I asked. I was told that they were out. I understand that that can be an issue. But at $600/night, please go get me one. After I was adamant, they magically found me one. I was not impressed with my stay. The downstairs restaurant and Barbara’s fabulous and had a great half hour. I went there a few times. The rooftop bar had a great view that seemed very understaffed. Someone at my table had to send their hamburger back three times and the staff kept throwing it back on the same grill. I’ve never seen this done.

Coastal get away near lots of great views Really nice historical hotel. We only stayed 1 night in room 409. Spacious room, king size bed with large walk out balcony. The room is comfortable, clean, has nice products in shower, you get a package of fresh ground coffee upon check in & more if needed. Front desk Staff are very friendly. Great location to drive to many scenic places with amazing views. There is a restaurant in this bldg on 1 st floor & a spa available on 2nd floor. Ate dinner at the other hotel next door on the 5th floor outdoor patio. Nice view with small menu. Had a small salad which was good. A bit pricey but everything is here during the summer months.

Expected a classic, but found mostly generic We booked this hotel fully expecting to stay in an exquisitely renovated 19th century jewel of a building. Upon arrival, however, we learned that our suite was in the nearby, newer annex, not the classic hotel. The room was generic and could have been in any branded hotel chain so we were quite disappointed given how expensive it was. The low floor room also had paper thin walls which reverberated the sounds of neighboring guests and the obnoxiously loud elevator. Our parking lot view and lack of any services (no breakfast included, spa not available, no pool) also added to the general sense of disappointment of the value provided. On the positive side, the hotel is very centrally located and the staff helpful, professional, and friendly.

Happy we chose this hotel! Wonderful, charming hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. They will grind fresh coffee beans for you at the front desk! The room was very comfortable and clean Nice bedding and a comfy mattress. Dinner at the restaurant was very good - risotto, halibut, steak were some of our selections. Good service there too. It’s fun and relaxing to head up to the rooftop bar of the second building for drinks or a snack. Parking is plentiful and the location is conveniently right downtown and only about 5 or 6 miles from the ferry.

It was an amazing experience ... we will return! Very quiet, very clean and comfortable - nice linens & compfy bed - we even had a water view! We could easily attend our conference in Anacortes, come and go in safety. The bar acutally had closed when we returned (we were 15 mins late) but the very nice Staff agreed to fix our cocktails so we could take them to our room. They didn't have to so they went the extra mile to take care of us - we so appreciate them!
