Unique and special hotel We stayed here in July 2017 for a convention. The location was great. What we really enjoyed was the uniqueness of the hotel from the gardens to the pool to the lobby to the bar patio. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was an oasis away from all the convention activity and often brought back other attendees to enjoy the atmosphere. The staff in the restaurant and bar were excellent. There was even a hotel cat. We loved the shape of the pool and the fountains and foliage throughout. We are sad it is closed for renovations but the rooms did need updating. I sincerely hope that they don’t lose the mission style look and unique elements during these renovations and make it just like every other hotel in the area. Please keep what is special about your hotel

A great place to stay Very friendly staff and within great walking distance to Disneyland although there is a bus stop right outside. Rooms need updating as looking a little tired and quite dark inside. Very clean and beautiful grounds.

Never stayed there. Got charged and no refund. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Why would they care though because they are permanently closing. I will never stay at this hotel nor the new one they are renovating into. I had inquired about 3 nights to book for a conference through my company rate. Somehow I made a reservation (but there's no confirmation of this anywhere). I ended up staying at the Sheraton not even ever knowing I had supposedly had rooms booked at the Annabella and I was charged $256 for one night stay due to no show / no cancel. I never knew I had a room booked and no confirmation of this. I called for proof of it, and did not get any in return. I was told I could not be refunded my $256. Supposedly the hotel called me about his reservation, but their voicemails (both of them) were in regards to some dates in August, which I wasn't even going to California in August, so I though these voicemails were a spam / sales call. Therefore I didn't return the call because the voicemails made no sense. Because I didn't call them back and never got confirmation of my reservation I supposedly made, my refund request was denied. So now I'm out $256 for a hotel stay in which I never stayed at and never booked. Terrible.

Awesome location! Feels like home! We booked a suite that had a second spare bedroom for our daughter! The room also had a pull out couch in case we had extra guests. Only issue with our booking would probably be the old sock we found under the bed that did not belong to us. Bathroom was updated! Oh also where our room was there was no working elevator!

Excellent launch point for your Disney vacation Great location and the room was very clean. Not a lot of frills, but that didn't matter since we spent very little time in the room. If you don't mind a little walk, it was a very easy trek to Disneyland. There is a really good restaurant right next door, with an ice cream shop too. All in all, The Anabella was perfect for what we needed.
