Not the most desirable hotel We only had one day to spend at Disneyland this time around, so we wanted to find a hotel in the area that was cheap for two nights. With the Anaheim Majestic Garden, you definitely get cheap and once you check into your room you can see why. As far as the exterior and the grounds go, the hotel looks like it's going to be really nice. There is great landscaping and the building itself seems to be pretty well maintained. However, once you walk in you can see that most of their money goes towards maintaining the outside. After walking down halls that smelled very smoky, we found that our room was definitely an afterthought. The carpet was worn down, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the pillows were uncomfortable, the bathroom was very small and not the cleanest, and we could hear nothing but highway noise. Not only that, but all but two of the many power outlets in the room didn't work. Only one on the bedside table worked and one by the TV which made charging devices pretty challenging. There is also minimal lighting available in the room, so hopefully if you stay with kiddos they aren't scared of the dark. At one point I used my phone flashlight for some extra lighting. You see in a lot of reviews of this hotel that housekeeping isn't really present during your stay and that is 100% true. There are disclaimers stating that your room will only be "visited" by housekeeping staff every third night and if you want/need anything to be cleaned, you need to request it with the front desk. Luckily we didn't need anything during the time we had in the room, but if we would have it didn't seem to be the easiest process. What makes this hotel worth it honestly is the park shuttle and the breakfast. We got a room package that included a free breakfast buffet each morning, so we saved quite a bit of money just on that. The shuttle also ran every half hour to/from the park entrance so that saves you a ton of walking. We stayed for a Disneyland After Dark event that didn't end until 1:00am and the shuttle ran until 2:15am so we didn't get stranded in the park with no option but to walk. After the experience, I don't think I would choose to stay here again. Like I said, the shuttle and the breakfast made it worth it but I think next time I am okay with paying a bit extra to not be in such a dumpy place. I'm not surprised this hotel has such bad reviews.

MEH... We stayed here on a recent family trip. I booked two rooms to accommodate our large family. I asked ahead of time if we could have two rooms right next to each other. They noted it and said that would be fine. When we checked in after our first day at Disney, our rooms were 5 doors down from each other. They said that they try, but there is no guarantee (which is NOT what they said on the phone when I asked previously). One of the rooms in the Garden Tower smelled stuffy and like a wet dog. The other had a wet spot in the carpet from the fridge. We could not turn on any air and were told that there was no temperature controls as the whole tower unit was controlled by one central controller. Who does that?? We were offered a fan, which we took and we used the window for ventilation. The room showed signs of aging, especially the bathtub. There were sandbags outside of the main doors into the garden tower area which shows they have flooding issues. The main building entrance and lobby seemed nice, and the shuttle service was VERY nice and appreciated. No microwave except in the lobby gift shop. That was very inconvenient for families trying to save money by bringing items to heat up. I probably will look elsewhere when booking our next trip.

HORRIBLE BEWARE!!!!! My son and his friends stayed there this past weekend 1/ 18-21/2025 and were attacked by bedbugs and the hotel did not take very serious because all they did for my son and his friends was to move them to another room with their invested luggage and personal belongings . Which I'm sure that room also has bed bugs if it didn't already. left message for hotel manager to call back but no word. I did call health dept.
