Clean, convenient and affordable!! Arrived Anchorage on a red eye and needed an affordable and close place to rest my 16hr tired traveling head. Found this little gem, read the reviews and decided to take a chance and boy am I glad I did! Prepaid my room, single queen #215, for about HALF the price of chains that were comparable. Called the hotel for the complimentary shuttle at 145am and it was there in under 30minutes. Driver was a true delight. Check in was effortless, told about morning breakfast, hot and cold, and dragged my bags up the flight of stairs to my room. There are no elevators on site so if mobility is an issue be sure to let them know when you boon. My room was cozy, good size. I think it was recently renovated with newer carpet and fresh paint. Bed was a little firm for me but had no trouble sleeping at all. All the critter comforts you could want to include hair dryer, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The staff is likely the best feature of the property...beyond helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again. Just remember to set reasonable expectations and you'll b3 delighted.

A great place to stay I stayed 4 nights in Anchorage before heading to Seward Military Reunion. I picked The Merrill Field Inn because of the low price and the 24 hour shuttle service as l didn't want to rent a car. The room was large and clean and the shuttle service was unbeatable. I used it twice daily and was always very satisfied with the quickness in which it arrived. The A/C made a little but l slept fine.

Older accommodations. Room was a nice size and it had a fridge and microwave. The air conditioner was rather noisy and we had trouble sleeping. The bathroom was clean but rather dated. Continental breakfast was an added bonus. The owners were very friendly and kind.

To and from Denali This place totally met our needs! Clean sheets, good location for our rail trip, rooms were spacious, beds suited me. They were kind enough to store our bags while we took a train to Denali and back. Real food for breakfast, Their brewery recommendations were right on. It’s a 3 mile hike straight west to the ocean. Basically the free shuttle paid for a meal each day. Staff was super helpful. Yes I will come back.

Just Right For Us The place was just right for what we needed: we were going from Merrill Field airport to Anchorage airport. It’s not a 5 star hotel and it is certainly clean and convenient. Front desk was great. We appreciated the free parking and shuttle to the airport. We could walk from the Merrill Field airport to the hotel. We got the suite room because it was the only one left when we booked. We loved it because we needed to spread out and sort out all our stuff from a week of travel in Alaska.
