Very Clean & Comfy! This was the perfect, affordable stop for a quick overnight before driving into the beach the next morning! Very clean room and comfortable bed. Hot shower and even a nice, small continental breakfast. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. In a safe area with food, coffee and shopping close! Would absolutely stay again.

Nice stopping point to Destin The manager was very nice and friendly. The room was clean with updated floors and bed linen. The towels/washcloths were clean but stained. Many guests there, but it was quiet the night we stayed. The breakfast was an option of freshly made waffles, cereal, muffins or bagels with coffee or milk. We stay in Andalusia on our way to Destin every year and would stay there again!

Acceptable, but I won't be back. Too Raggedy I checked in to this hotel that I booked through my job. I was staying in this little town for a couple days to see some family while I was passing through the area. I was looking for something cheap as this was a side trip and I would only be there just to sleep. I read the reviews as well as reviews for other low price hotels in the area and decided to give this one a chance. The first impression as I pulled in wasn't great. The building and parking lot up front looked a little shabby. As I walked into the lobby the carpet was worn out looking. The service at the desk was fine no complaints there. The only thing that was a tad bit concerning to me was I reserved a king size non-smoking room ahead of time and they seemed to have trouble finding a non-smoking room for me. they eventually got that sorted out but the fact that is was an issue to find one when I booked in advance was something I found odd. The room I was assigned was on the back side of the establishment which is separated and on the other side of the pool. This side of the property wasn't very well lit at night, and the signage in the parking lot is faded. Getting to the room itself. I thoroughly checked the bed and room to inspect for bed bugs or roaches based on previous reviews. During my stay I didn't find any. Checking the bed, the bedding did seem a bit worn to me. I also noticed on the King size bed in the room, there was no fitted sheet on the mattress, just another flat sheet tucked around it. The mattress cover looked pretty clean. The alarming point of the bedding was the sheets looked like there were small blood stains on them as if there were bed bugs at some point and the sheets weren't replaced. The pillows were also worn out looking and lumpy and weird mix match sizes. there were also only three . I'm used to seeing at least four on a King size bed. Nothing was off-putting enough to make me leave early, but certainly wasn't thrilled by it. The rest of the room drew a similar assessment from me. Acceptable but not fully satisfactory. The room was raggedy. The furniture was all very scratched and worn out looking. The walls looked like they were lazily painted over multiple times with spillover everywhere. The construction quality on the "repairs" and I use that term lightly, was very poor. There were holes in the wall. There was a light switch that did nothing. The lighting outside wasn't always working making walks from the car at night a little creepy. There were stray cats running around outside. There was trash in one of the trash bins that wasn't emptied out. The was a spot on the wall near the bathroom that something was obviously removed from and there was an unsightly unpainted spot left behind. The racks in the fridge were rusted. I could call out things about the maintenance all day, and that is exactly my problem with it. These are all relatively simple things they could be fixing correctly but are not. I noticed there were police and paramedics outside one morning so clearly there was some incident that happened. Talking to the people I was visiting here, police presence is not all that common in this town either so this is an issue with this establishment not the neighborhood. I am familiar with this town, and I know this is a very small town but that's not an excuse for the condition of this business. I'm sorry but I can't pull punches with this review seeing as how I had just stayed in a cheaper room the night before in another city in Alabama that was in better condition than this one. As I stated, the overall experience was acceptable, but I won't be back. If you are passing through and need a place to get some rest, it might work out for you, but it is too mediocre for me to truly recommend it even for that. At the time I went it was clean enough but there's no guarantee it will be for you based on the service I was seeing. Some people won't scrutinize the repair work as hard as I do, but my reasoning is, if you can't get simple things like paint, and patching the wall right, what else hasn't been taken care of that we aren't seeing? I hope this review is taken to heart I would love it to see this business improve.

Dirty hotel Housekeeping never cleans rooms. They reuse dirty towels. Housekeeping doesn’t have proper cleaning tools like toilet wand or mops. Broken phone, office staff very rude. This hotel was the cheapest, for 3 months @ $87 a night while we waited for our house. We witnessed 2 fights on the property with constant interruptions of loud noises. It was a living nightmare. I wonder how did they pass inspection??? I witnessed this!
