Horrible check in experience I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay due to the unprofessional and rude attitude of the receptionist, whose name was either Elsa or Elza. From the moment I checked in, she spoke to me in a dismissive and unfriendly manner that was completely uncalled for. Her behavior made what should have been a pleasant experience frustrating and upsetting. It's a shame that such poor customer service overshadowed my stay at the hotel !!!

Regent in need of updates The Regent has bath rubs in all rooms but one. Additionally only one room even had grab bars in the bath tub. Not very accommodating for those with physical challenges!

Good Place to Stay We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Room was very clean. So was bathroom, although a little small. Comfortable king bed and good pillows. Good breakfast, but seating is quite limited. One minor issue is the AC in room 1110 needs to be serviced. It is rather noisy.

Ann Arbor Regent I stayed at the Ann Arbor Regent for 8 nights. I booked 8 rooms for myself and my employees while training at a nearby campus. I booked the room through Expedia in order to receive points from the hotel which does not seem to be affiliated with a larger brand. When checking in, The front desk clerk informed me that because I booked the room through Expedia, it was not possible to change me to a King room from a double even though rooms were available. I was then assigned a room at the end of the building where a roofing project was underway. The guest in line in front of me was told that they would be assigned a room as far from the construction as possible. I can only assume that guests who book through a third party are given the rooms in the poorer location. There were many guests attending the same training as my group. Guests attending the training were not able to take advantage of the "free" breakfast, because the hotel did not open the breakfast early enough. The hotel is in a convenient location near the campuses of EMU and WCC. The rooms were generally clean, however are in desperate need of updating. The beds in my room were comfortable. Housekeeping was hit and miss, we did not receive any towels on one day of our stay. Check out is effortless.
