Hot and humid rooms with no help from maintenance Room was 76 degrees and when asked to have the AC fixed, engineering just turned off the thermostat. Was not fixed for the full 5-day stay. Hotel hallway was considerably cooler. Both sinks in the suite leaked water, sheets are scratchy. Confusing signs leading to the rooms and three different elevators depending on which side of the hotel you’re on. No trash cans anywhere. Would not recommend. Amenities and other furniture in the room was adequate.

Good downtown Appleton option. Batgroom lacked counter space Room is nice size. Outlet by bed are great; plugs and USB. Mattress was not too firm and bedding cozy. Pillows were not as firm for me but not too soft. Bathroom shower was nice but we must have been in adapted room cause toilet was tiny bowl and very short to ground. Sink lacked counter space. Not towel rack meant towels were behind toilet. Bathroom was roomy with no organized counter or towel rack or hanging space. Shower had great shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Large nice lotion as well in bathroom. Room in luded small kcup coffee maker. Small fridge. Safe. Steamer and closet area. Larger rv on wall. Desk with rollable chair. Enough room for 2 large suitcases. Our kind bed room window looked out on lobby 2nd floor but was nice and dark at night and not noisy. Garage parking at $10 day. You can walk from garage 3rd floor to hotel covered but note small escalator makes it hard for some luggage.

Worst customer service any Hilton ever Very disappointed as loyal Hilton members and world travelers but this is probably the worst Hilton experience we’ve had in recent years. Checked in about 5 PM here first time in Appleton, and there were no issues with the check-in process. We went for dinner at Lombardi‘s I had a wonderful meal, but came back to our room and realized we were short pillow and needed a couple of waters before we turned in. I tried to call the front desk turns out there in-house phones do not work at all. So I searched up the phone number and use my cell phone and reached the front desk. Requesting a pillow and just a couple of waters figured we would just watch a little TV and wait a few minutes . That turned to 25 minutes so I called back and the front desk clerk said well he had made a call to housekeeping on the radio, but nobody answered and that actually housekeeping was closed and he would handle it. It has been about 45 minutes, and I’m afraid to call back because he sounded irritated, after the last two calls. I can’t believe we’re staying at a major Hilton in a big downtown center and have such terrible service, no phone and no ability just to get simple housekeeping. Very disappointed I would warn others before they come here a lot of other choices.

NOT a typical Hilton Experience... The front desk agent who worked the late shift was so unhelpful, unknowledgeable and aloof. The only thing she succeeded at was making us feel that she just did not care at all about our stay at this "Hilton". Apparently, the information available to the day crew and the overnight crew is completely different - to the detriment of anyone who books this "Hilton". We were told one thing at 11am and then completely another at 11pm. Absolutely frustrating. The shower water pressure was astoundingly low. The washcloths are very thin and the drying towels were not the typical plush big towels you are used to at real Hiltons. There were no familiar luxury (or at least decent) bathroom accessories at this "Hilton". No hairdryer. No cotton balls or Q-tips. No kidding... We usually stay across the street at the CopperLeaf, but wanted to give this "Hilton" a try. Big mistake. Will not stay here again. I don't care about Honors points if the stay is going to be a dud. If this "Hilton" wants to be a Hilton, then there is still work to be done.

Hidden parking fees/poor service at front desk.⁸ I asked the hotel if they had a shuttle service as I was attending a game at Nueroscience field. The front desk staff told me the hotel didn't offer shuttle service. After the game while I was waiting for my Uber to pick me up I say a Hilton shuttle picking up other guest. When I arrived at the hotel via Uber they was a shuttle parked in front of the hotel dropping off other guests. My room had a very foul smell like sewage. It was so bad I requested to be moved rooms which the hotel obliged. I asked the hotel if the validate parking and was told yes up to $10.00. At no point was I told my room was going to be charged the $10. Leaving a car overnight it the ramp would have been $6. So, this didn't save me any money nor was it ever explained and the charge authorized. I didn't get an itemized bill and check out. So, I only discovered the charge on a bank statement a few days later. I called the hotel and a manger called me back. He seemed like he could care less about the charge. He only informed me he would talk to his staff about explaining what validating me. This is google's definition of parking validation: When a parking ticket is "validated," it typically means the establishment a parking customer visited is paying for at least a portion of their customer's parking, up to 100% of the parking price. As a parker, getting your parking validated is a benefit of making a purchase at a business. Rooms were outdated and this place wasn't worth the expensive cost.
