Clean, comfortable, affordable Clean and comfortable! Location was fine, the staff were friendly, price wasn’t crazy expensive, we’ll be returning. Our stay was very good. Restaurant across the street as well as a Target across the road along with a Trader Joe’s. 1 less star because the room is pretty small.

Clean, but very small room There was so much furniture in the room, could hardly get around. My walker would not go between the bed or TV counter, and it also would not fit thru the door of the bathroom. The bathroom was VERY small. The bed is much to high- had a hard time getting up unto the bed.

People that put bad things into the world get bad experiences! A motel that has decent food, and so what if someone doesn't want to share a chair with you? I do not want some stranger sitting next to me now a days either...I am 5'8 and 140 and can turn around in the bathroom just fine, how big do you need a room to be? Pay for a 4-5 star place and maybe you will get more, but this inn is just what it is, an inn....

Didn't like at all First off, I booked a room here 6 months in advance for the state fair. Our plans for the weekend changed and we wanted to stay downtown Mnpls instead, but this hotel wouldn't let us cancel for free so we were stuck driving all the way downtown and had to pay for parking. I requested a top floor AWAY from elevator room. We were given 3rd floor, but directly next to the elevator! Which made a huge clanking noise every time it was used and disrupted our sleep. I also had trouble breathing in our room, the mold/mildew smell coming from the AC was horrid! No windows open and the fan either runs constantly or not at all so then it got too hot, ugh. The bathroom is so small you can hardly turn around in it. If give the room a 5 out of 10 for cleanliness. Bed is high up but fairly comfortable. Breakfast options weren't great, cheap pastries, bagels, and some hot foods that were empty or looked dry. Another couple wouldn't let us use one of their 2 empty chairs because "they might need them" and the only open table had one chair because another family with a coughing child (not covering their mouth) took the chair for it! The first morning we had to sit next to gross coughing (no covering) men, the 2nd morning we ate in our room. No one asked how anything was when we checked out our said thank you. No housekeeping so had to use the same towels twice, yuck! Cracked my knee on the hard table corner right next to the bed when I got up in the night to try to fix the AC. Desk chair was broken and sideways. Crumbs in all the drawers. Would never stay here again or recommend!

Nice place to stay First time stay at the Quality Inn & Suites in Arden Hills. Check in was smooth and I was given a room on the 3rd floor (top floor). I had a room with 1 queen bed. A few observations...the bed was high! With a sore back it was slightly painful to crawl up and in bed. But once in bed I thought it was comfortable and the sheets were soft and 4 pillows were perfect for me. I appreciated the big TV and channel selection. The bathroom was really small, but fine for 1 person. The water pressure was good in the shower and plenty of hot water. I noticed a slight smell of what I thought might be mildew and thought it might have been from having the bathroom fan on...I didn't continually notice it nor was bothered by it. I did go down for breakfast, having pancakes and juice. The area as clean and while somewhat small, met my need. Check out was also smooth. If in the area again I would choose this location based on affordability, cleanliness, and a comfortable bed.
