Great place for an easy escape. We have been going to the West Mountain Inn for about 40 years and it never disappoints. Great meals and a super relaxing environment. The staff is always helpful and cheerful. A number of trails, near the Battenkill for fishing and lots of tourist attractions.

Wonderful experience We celebrated our 50th anniversary at this lovely location. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Dinner was outstanding with very attentive wait staff. My filet mignon and my husband’s halibut was presented beautifully and tasted as good. Breakfasts were delicious with a variety of menu items. It snowed overnight and our car was cleaned off!

February weekend in southern VT I have stayed at the West Mountain Inn at least 5 times prior to my last visit and the stay always makes me and my wife happy. The rooms and inn is quaint and the staff is very nice. Dining there is also very good. I would highly recommend it. Take time to visit Southern Vermont Arts Center while in the area.

Cozy and peaceful retreat! After 23 years of visits, the Inn still maintains that cozy, you are family feeling! Add in the fabulous breakfast, dinner and a stroll around the peaceful, scenic property and you will find it difficult to leave, and tempted to return soon.

Time Away Had a great weekend getaway. Inn and service staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent, didn't have to go anywhere else to eat. Room was well appointed and common areas were very comfortable to just sit and relax by the fire or play board games. Ps - the Alpacas were a hoot!
