Holiday Inn Resort Aruba - Beach Resort & Casino by IHG

The Pam beach Bar I came to THE PALM BAR in the holiday Inn resort in aruba a year go and met Victor and Josuel and they were the sweetest and most amazing bartenders. I am back again this year and they are still yet amazing. The drinks are amazing and they have such good service and always a laugh and a good time with them. Definetly a place you want to be if you want a good martini. They can make it all!!

Planning Next Trip! Fantastic experience at the Holiday Inn Resort! The resort had a beautiful grounds and fantastic views. In addition, it was extremely clean and well-kept. Everyone we encountered from security to towel staff to the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurants we dined in- Sea Breeze, Italian, and Mexican- were delicious! We are already planning our next stay! Can’t wait until next time!

Ramon is great! Ramon was the greatest server!! We had him at the Italian restaurant. Very nice and attentive. Great smile and easy to talk to. Would’ve loved to have him again!! Great stay at the Hoilday inn and even better service thanks to the great people who work here!

Could be amazing BUT… So we went as a family to Aruba and after researching we decided on holiday Inn due to location and the possibility of all inclusive to keep down on costs. So mixed feelings about this hotel resort as it feels like if management could spent a little it would be amazing Good points - great location in a great part of Aruba (Palm Beach) - shops and mall across the road from hotel. (It feels like though Palm Beach may have been affected by Covid as one of the mall all of the shops had closed. But still a few places to see) - right by pier for many of the Cataman trips and where they drop you off for many trips by coach) - staff we met seem friendly Management take note!!/ not so good points: - all inclusive for kids is terrible the SAME menu in every restaurant every night. My children after day 2 were moaning to go to Wendy or McDonald’s nearby as they were bored. Also the menu generally is very basic eg chicken tenders, margarita pizza etc - Sea breeze not bad menu, BUT the Italian restaurant (Davinci) was terrible it isn’t Italian in any way and the Mexican it took an hour for each course and the prawns were not cooked. - I know other reviews have spoke about the terrible smell of the corridors and hallway but it was really bad. It smells like mould. So if you have children or any elderly people with breathing issues make sure you look elsewhere - the state of the rooms could be so much better as they have a great view but things like AC are ancient so old. - Sofa bed if you get a room with this don’t expect to have a good night sleep. It was like sleeping on a cement basket. It was horrible. We were close to paying for an upgraded room as were sleep deprived. Things we couldn’t believe - please just give your guests who are on all inclusive packages especially bottles of water rather than cups only. The rooms don’t even have bottles of water for the evening/night. - the beach shade available is through hiring a umbrella for 80 dollars a DAY?!? Or wooden shade for 18 dollars a day. The rooms are not that cheap and it seems crazy they would charge this much for shade when the weather in Aruba is so hot. Come on now Holiday Inn!!! Summary we loved Aruba but if we came back even though we loved the location we would try somewhere else as walking along the strip and seeing other hotel beaches/pools we got felt cheated. It’s a shame as it has no much promise with amazing staff.
