Can't go wrong at the 1900 Inn on Montford! You won't be dissappointed! From the moment of our arrival, we had a good feeling about the 1900 inn on Montford. Willie and Shawnie were there to kindly greet us and show us to our suite. We stayed in Cloisters, which I would highly recommend. For a couples visit, it's plenty. Our room was in great condition as well as the main home and grounds. Very well kept, clean and comfortable! As soon as Willie showed us around, he left and provided all the space one would want at a B&B. But they were there at a moments notice if we needed anything. Every morning, Shawnie delivered an amazing breakfast that left us full and ready to go! She is wonderful in the kitchen and has her recipes dialed in. Key lime custard for breakfast one morning! Ohhh man, I licked the bowl! Shawnie also makes an assortement of cookies that are readily available for guests. The are amazing. Shawnie could start her own cookies business if she wanted to. Asheville boasts a lot to do, but on the Saturday night we stayed, 1900 on Montford brought the entertainment in-house. This is a regular Saturday thing at teh 1900. Bluegrass on the front porch, good people, and an adult beverage or two made for a wonderful evening. A truly special experience! If you're in Asheville and are exploring B&B's, I'd stop the search and book with the 1900 Inn on Montford right away. No question about it. Next time I'm in Asheville, I'll be staying at the 1900. Thank you Willie and Shawnie for such hospitality and kindness. You've got a great thing going! Keep it up!

New appreciation for B&B! My husband and I travel a lot and we do not stay in B&B’s, but this house has great reviews so we decided to give it a go. So glad we did! Owner’s made us feel right at home. The homemade cookies are AMAZING! Breakfast on the porch every morning was way better than any restaurant! Accommodations were lovely and comfortable and the house is quiet at night. The location is perfect. Close to downtown but not too close. We walked to a lovely dinner one night. We had to catch an early flight home so they packed us a to-go breakfast! Who does that!? We’ll be back!

This was a great weekend! The Inn on Montford is such a welcoming place that you just feel at home from the minute you arrive. The house is spectacular and the hospitality is even better! Awesome innkeepers, beautiful house, and great food! Oh, and the Saturday night music on the porch could not be better. BTW - the hostess, Stacy, was absolutely delightful! She made us feel so welcome! Thanks you Stacy, we love you!

Simply spectacular! My wife and I decided to do a few days away in Asheville and found the 1900 in on Montford via web search. The photos, the service, the location, The AMAZING 3-course breakfast, everything was top notch. The photos don’t do it justice. It is one of the most charming bed-and-breakfast we’ve ever stayed in. Additionally it was an easy walk downtown. Beyond the location and ambience Willy and his wife were unbelievable hosts. They make the bed-and-breakfast what it is, simply outstanding. I can’t say enough great things about them and their Inn. Our visit to Asheville was was one of the best vacations because of the 1900 Inn on Montford

5 Star All The Way My fiancée and I spent 2 nights in July at this wonderful B&B. We stayed in The William Morris Room which is located in the Carriage House behind the Inn on the first floor with a very private patio and assigned parking spot. Even though the Inn is in the middle of the City, it is very quiet. The room is on the small side but contains everything you could possibly need for a comfortable visit. We basically booked this room for a Getaway Spa Experience close to home. The room comes with a Whirlpool with shiatsu massage and air bath plus a very large 5′ x 7′ Shower with multiple body jets and steam bath. It did not disappoint. A 3 course breakfast was delivered to our room each morning at 9:00 and was so delicious. The tray even contained some lovely flowers in a vase. Shawnie and Willy were amazing hosts. As others have mentioned, the cookies were "out of this world delicious" and so were the breakfast muffins and peach cobbler that we had during our stay. It is always hard to have to come home after such a visit and cook our own breakfasts. The Inn is easy to get to and located in a beautiful, walkable, Historic area of Asheville. We walked 2 blocks to the Nine Mile Restaurant, but sadly it was closed because of the July 4th weekend but there are numerous dining choices in the area. If you have a need to visit the Asheville area or just want a quick getaway to enjoy the mountains, don't hesitate to stay at this inn. It is amazing.
