Affordably tolerable I went on a spur-of-the-moment romantic getaway to Asheville in February 2015 and we decided to stay here owing to the proximity of the Biltmore Estate and the affordability of the place for a two day stay. We were a little alarmed when we pulled into the parking lot and there were only a few cars on a weekend (and it stayed that way). Pros: uncommonly affordable for the location, a wonderful hot water system and spacious shower (my favorite thing), includes (very limited) continental breakfast, you get Hilton benefits (pool and TFI Fridays discount), clean (for the most part). Cons: The room was a bit cold upon entry, there were some bugs in the window sill, a large bug hanging above me getting ready at the sink, and probably the worst thing: the bathroom was a pull-close sliding closet door. Doesn't leave much to the imagination and it's hard to be romantic when you can hear and smell everything clearly from the bed. Staff was friendly, room was clean and continental breakfast was adequate (although a bit stingy). Still, staying here was a bargain when compared with other nearby facilities which are easily three times the price. I would stay here again if we were on a budget.

Very convenient to Biltmore Very clean and convenient. I would stay there again. We stayed on the second floor which was convenient to all the food. We were maybe 1/2 mile from the Biltmore Estate, which was the main reason for our trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was my first time to Asheville and I thoroughly enjoyed my trip with two of my sisters.

Clean and quiet I picked this location based on ratings and the tempur pedic mattresses. I have to say, the sleep was delightful. The room was modest, but excellent for price. The only thing I would add is a fridge in all of the rooms. There was a guy on day shift at the desk with strawberry blond hair (can't remember his name :()helpful with any questions about the area, food, etc. if you are looking for a clean place to sleep after being out and about all day this is the place!

HIdden Away Hotel GPS helped us locate this hotel. It's tucked away on a quiet dead end street next to the Double Tree and a busy street just off the interstate. The room was small but so what-we weren't there to see the room. It was fairly close to the Biltmore Estate where we wanted to tour. And that tour is big bucks so it was nice to save on our room for that one night. There is only a shower but that was okay for us. Compact and efficient. I reall appreciated the fridge in the room. The breakfast included was fine-loads of carbs but that's okay for us for one meal.
