This hotel kept our money when they were closed! I hate to post bad things about a hotel, but this is an exception! I can’t say anything about staying at the hotel because we were understandably unable to stay because of Hurricane Helene. What I can’t understand is why they will not return the $979.23 that we paid for the reservation for my high school reunion! I get non-refundable, but they could not even be reached by phone and were without water and power on the dates of our reservation, October 4-6, 2024. I’m not mad that they were not open. I am angry that they have basically stolen our money. We have contacted them on numerous occasions and have been unable to resolve this.

Fantastic service at a nice conference I went there for a CE conference. Even though they were recovering from Hurricane Helene, the hotel was very nice and the staff were exceptional. The restaurant was fantastic. I'd like to return after Ashville is completely back to normal.

Great location. Friendly staff. Older property but well maintained. Very friendly staff. Great location in close proximity to tourist attractions. My only concern was the very very long trek from the main lobby to my hotel room. Elevators are not optimally located on the property.

Never Again! I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Asheville Resorts for the third year in a row, for an extended 30-day stay. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit. My experience has deteriorated year after year, culminating in this most recent stay, which was deeply disappointing. Let’s start with check-in. The young lady who checked me in was not welcoming at all. She seemed visibly annoyed when I asked basic questions such as how to get to my room and confirming my checkout dates. Basic hospitality was completely lacking, making me feel unwelcome from the moment I arrived. To make matters worse, I was charged a $5 fee per package for delivery, even though I was staying for an extended period. This felt like an unnecessary nickel-and-diming tactic, especially for long-term guests. The villa I stayed in was outdated, with furniture that was in poor condition—mismatched and in desperate need of cleaning. It felt like they hadn’t been properly maintained in quite some time, adding to the overall sense that the resort is not being cared for as it should be. The attitude of the staff, barring a couple of kind wait staff members (who I doubt will stay given the environment), was consistently rude. It felt like they went out of their way to make guests uncomfortable, avoiding any interactions that might require them to actually provide service. Most of the staff seemed to duck and hide, rather than offer assistance or even basic courtesy. After three years of visiting for 30 days at a time, I had hoped things would improve, but each year I was treated worse than the last. I love tennis, and that’s the only reason I kept coming back, thinking I could overlook the growing disrespect. However, I now truly regret spending nearly $20,000 here, only to be treated so poorly. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this resort to anyone looking for a pleasant, respectful, or relaxing experience.

Ummm - could have been better…. The hotel is a bit outdated. We asked for connecting rooms and we got them but we were at the very farthest end of the hotel and the hotel wasn’t busy by any means and it was quite a walk to the one little elevator and to the front. Bathrooms were tiny - nobody said a word about the bigger pool or work out center - we had to find out alot on our own!
