Beautiful hotel, great location Just got back from a 3 night stay at Hotel Indigo. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the valets. The room was nice and the lobby was beautiful. Within an easy walk of all the restaurants and shops downtown. I did not get a chance to try the food or drinks in the restaurant/bar but there were plenty of people enjoying the food when I

Must stay in Asheville Do yourself a favor and stay here. It is a two minute walk to Downtown Asheville, and about 15 minutes from the airport. They recently renovated and the results are astounding. The lobby is beautiful and spacious and you are greeted warmly as soon as you step out of your car. The valets are quick and helpful and the front desk was welcoming and super friendly. They wanted to make sure our stay was great every step of the way. The breakfast and coffee was delicious and the bar was well stocked. The staff at both was impeccable. The room was honestly unexpected. For what I paid, I did not expect such a gorgeous, large, and extremely clean room. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was large and had awesome products mounted to the wall. Stay here, you will not regret it!

Beware This Hotel Under Renovation. We've stayed in this hotel many times in the past, as recently as December of 2023. We were disappointed to arrive and find out that the hotel is under renovation. There is basically no lobby. The restaurant area is greatly reduced. The elevators are stripped. There was no indication on their website that there was any work being done. Most of the rooms have already been redesigned but sadly the designers went for form over function. The photos on the website show the old rooms. The new rooms do have a nice bathroom but the walk in show has no safety bar. The new beds are a hazard. The sides and especially corners are hidden by the bedspread and are extremely painful when your leg hits them. Even knowing about them after a few painful lessons.. it was hard to avoid. The desk chair is not a desk chair. It's a short regular chair with no wheels. The height was no adjustable. Horrible to sit at when working on a laptop. One of the supposedly comfortable chairs in the room had a light fixture attached to the back. The light hung over the chair and the shade had a piece of clear plastick that covered the bottom. My 6'2" husband hit his head on the lamp every time he got out of the chair. As a plus, they did add one usb port on each side of the bed, however there were new outlets put in near the desk with no usb ports. Another plus is that they now have a drink refridgerator, which they didn't have before. On top of everything else, the desk worker told us " We will put you in a room with a mountain view and far from the elevator " ( the elevator choice is in our IHG profile) Well, our room had a view of the telephone company and it was DIRECTLY across from the elevator. We were only staying 2 nights and they seemed a bit short staffed, so we just let it go. We will hold off on staying here again. There are other options in Asheville that we enjoy. It's too bad, this used to be a good place to stay.

Big disappointment! Was an excellent hotel in the past. Restaurant not open due to remodeling, which is understandable however, should have been warned at time of booking. Bloodstains on the sheets. Housekeeping already left for the day when noticed . Was not able to make reservation through Hotel. Had to go through unfamiliar travel agency. Stayed at Indigo in Asheville many, many times, but clearly, has gone downhill.

Never ever returning To begin with the hotel is under construction so early morning we were awaken by the noise of drilling, hammering and all other noise created from the workers. When we checked in I was told i was getting a room away from the elevator and with a view. In reality I had the room directly across from the elevator and my view was of a parking deck for the local utility trucks. The room, though recently remolded , had no closet or bar to hang anything on and provided 3 small drawers for all of our clothes and personal items. There was only 1 mirror in the whole room above the single sink in the bathroom. They advertise a full breakfast but only offered a skimpy buffet with reheated eggs and soggy bacon. No accommodation was offered for this and we were still charged $12/pp. Upon checking out the deposit of $450 I prepaid was lost in their computer system and billed me for the entire stay. It took a half an hour to get this straightened out On a brighter note the hotels staff was very nice and the location was a short walk to the center of town.
