Charming Hotel This hotel has tons of charm. The room was larger than expected and extremely comfortable. There was a happy hour where we gathered with other travelers and had some great conversations. Parking was easy and free. Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again on a return trip.

A Slightly Disappointed 50th Anniversary Trip Super comfortable bed but the place needs work. A little worn out. I was disappointed after reading so many great reviews. The room was not at all what I expected. It was in a great location and just fell short of being a great stay. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating but a lot of little details were missing. The TV in the living room did not work (I think Spectrum was at fault), one of the lights in the bedroom was not working and everything was just a little shy of being great. Not a bad place to stay but it could be much better with some of the little details being addressed.

Great find!! Quaint hotel with old time vibe. Very clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful! My favorite was the waffles with the homemade triple berry jam. Its a must try! Location was good, our focus was hiking the mountains and it was in close proximity. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Love it! Princess Anne Hotel is the only place I stay (for the past 10 years) when visiting Asheville. It is in a great, convenient location, there are restaurants within walking distance. I appreciate the hospitality. The staff is always so welcoming and the hotel food is great also.

Charming & a mile walk from downtown The staff is beyond friendly. The breakfast was extremely nice and part of the price of the room. I found some aspects of our room needing a refresher. Specifically the original windows were filled with cob webs as was the larger planter in our room. Besides minor dust the stay was top notch and we will for sure stay here again. We did walk downtown from the hotel. All tree lined safe sidewalks the entire way. About 1.1 miles to get downtown. Love the stay we will return.
