Hospitable and well-meaning, but some issues One can't fault the rooms with their pleasing decor and comfortable furnishings. We were fortunate to be on the 4th floor, because there is only one elevator with a limit of 5 people. The second night I realized the HVAC system was dehydrating us, the suction being so strong. It took me a while to figure out how to change the settings. Although we were often out of the room during the day, we did not always get room service. When we went for tea and cookies the one day we decided to go, the room was closed, but nothing was posted about the change in location. That said, the continental breakfast has many choices and is well-managed! The Lark Restaurant is one of the best in town, but get a reservation early!

Repeat customers to the Ashland Springs Hotel We really enjoy staying here and are repeat customers. The staff is always helpful. It is so convenient having breakfast included. The location is perfect for us, we park and then walk everywhere! The rooms are restful and the property is very attractive and well maintained. In the summer we love to sit in the courtyard. We will be staying there again.

Find Another Town We had a premium view king for 4 nights, free parking. Well located stately building with good view from our room. Clean with good bathroom, furniture and carpet had stains. Breakfast was poor with overcooked scrambled eggs and grocery store bagels. We cancelled our dinner reservations at Larks based on the lame breakfast. Would not choose Ashland again as a base to stay.

A True Classic that doesn't feel old. Lovely older hotel with classic ellegance. We visit Ashland very often on our way to or from Portland. We have not stayed at the Springs before because we usually traveled with our dog. This trip was pet free, so we tried it. You can't beat the location in town. This is a very old hotel, so you must be ok with quirkiness and smaller rooms and bathrooms. We were in a King room with a view, and it was perfect for sleeping. Linens and towels are nice, bed was comfy, air worked great and shower had good water pressure. If you want more lounging space, this is not the hotel for you, but you can gather in the nice lobby. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Maddison at the front desk made our trip by helping us with room placement.

Iconic Hotel Ashland Springs Hotel Ashland, Oregon June 1, 2024 – June 3, 2024 This is an iconic hotel right in the middle of downtown Ashland. It is conveniently located by the Shakespeare festival, and near a great variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel lobby is a wonderful throwback to the 1920’s or 1930’s, and their restaurant offers a delightful variety of fine dishes. The rooms are tiny, reflecting the norms of a bygone era, but hey are comfortable and nicely decorated. Checkin / out: Checking in and out is easy, but don’t try to check in too early. They will let you park your car early, so you can explore town until checkin time. Parking: There’s ample parking behind the hotel. Access is controlled so you don’t have to compete with festival goers. Cleanliness: We were happy to find the rooms nice and clean. Bed: The bed was a little soft for me.
