Vile! Absolutely horrible! A tent outside would have been better than staying at this dump! Slept in a bed where every time I moved, the headboard hit the wall because it wasn't Connected! Pillows hard as rocks, mattress felt like it was dragged from the bowery in the streets of N.Y. Opened the blinds, and could have made my own mountain! Of dust and dirt! Never, ever again! Pathetic!

Dangerous Parking Situation parking lot completely covered in black ice and there are no lights up. No way to navigate around it - wife fell and fractured elbow , plate and 4 screws. Heartless managers reply "we try, you just have to be careful around here in the snow". Numerous similar kind of posts about lack of empathy from management. This ice was not cleared even after this disaster and i nearly fell when going back to airport again. its not just about the bad quality , its dangerous to go there esp at night.

avoid at all costs!! I was in aspen for a wedding this summer----this was one of the recommended hotels---- the rooms were so bad, we left immediately--- its a VERY TIRED property and we had a room on the 4th floor---but the elevator only goes to 3--and no one was there to help--- the air conditioner blew directly onto our bed-- and the bathroom had mold in the corners--- the sliding glass doors didn't connect properly--i cant imagine the cold air leakage in the winter--- i would never stay at this place--- and when we left--they said they'd refund our deposit--which they never did-- i heard the new owners may tear it down and rebuild---lets hope so!! the staff was very apologetic--I felt very bad for them

Double charged I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I checked into Aspen Mountain Lodge on Aug. 16 while they were in the process of switching their reservation system to Vacasa. I was charged the balance due on my room (after the initial deposit) on Aug. 16 (three days before I checked in). Upon checking in on the 19th I was charged the exact same balance again, a duplicate charge. For the last month and a half I have been trying to get a resolution from Vacasa and/or Aspen Mountain Lodge. There is no one answering the phones at the property (the front desk manager quit while I was there) so I'm not able to reach anyone at the property (even though have left several messages). I have contested the charge with AmEx and they are hopefully taking care of it but Vacasa is saying they're not responsible and Aspen Mountain Lodge apparently has no employees. It's a nightmare, $1300 basically stolen from me and can't reach any human beings. Do NOT let this happen to you, don't stay here!

Tired room Totally disinterested receptionist didn't even acknowledge us as we came and went. Breakfast wasn't worth the walk to it, only one bagel out and cheap cereal nothing else. The room was tired but OK. Location was a short walk to Aspen but the swimming pool was next to the very busy noisy road and tiny.
